Zelda Faye (Knowles) Williams

Zelda Knowles -Williams, 78, passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at home surrounded by family.

She was born in Polk City, Florida to Fred and Minnie Knowles on November 29, 1941.

She was a lifelong resident of Polk County and enjoyed spending the summers in Montana with her youngest daughter and family.

She enjoyed traveling, gardening, reading, researching family history and spending time with family and friends. She was so loved.

She is survived by her sister, Relda Newbold of Polk City, FL and her brother William Knowles of Michigan. She will be dearly missed by her four children, Anita Jimenez of Lakeland, FL, Donnie Wilson (Elisa) of Mesa, AZ, Debbie Mc Lendon (Henry) of Lakeland, FL, and Marie Watson (Clint) of Darby, MT.

Her eight grandchildren, Nathan Wilson (Christina), Erin Hart (Luke), Sasha Wilson, Keri Ellington (John), Samantha McNutt (Sean), Henry Mclendon, Felix Jimenez, and Jackson Watson adored her.

She was so blessed by her great-grandchildren, Dominic, Devan and Kendra Wilson, Madelyn Hart, Lorelai, Liam amd Karalee McNutt, Trinity Jimenez and Fox Ellington.

The family will receive friends from 6-8pm, Wednesday, February 12, 2020, Lanier Funeral and Cremation Services, 717 Griffin Road, Lakeland, with services on Thursday, February 13, 2020, at 11am, Kathleen Baptist Church, Lakeland.
