William Henry LaFauce Jr.

William Henry LaFauce Jr., age 74, of Lakeland, FL passed away on November 28, 2022.
Born in Springfield, Illinois, he was the son of the late Doris and William H. LaFauce Sr.
He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Dorothy and children, Marc, William Henry LaFauce III and his wife Jamie, Erik and Nicholas. He leaves behind his grandchildren, Anthony, Addison, Andie, Lennan and Jaxon LaFauce and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister Lana Benedict.
William worked as a greenskeeper for golf courses in Illinois. He served in the United States Navy as a Military Police officer in Vietnam. He was quite the character who had many interesting stories to tell of his time in there. He enjoyed participating in Civil War reenactments as a young man in Illinois and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He was a great father who taught his sons the valuable lessons in life. His stories and these lessons will remain with them as well as the fond memories he leaves behind. He will be missed.
