William Frank Ferguson, age 79, of Lakeland, FL passed away on November 2, 2022.
A native of Greenville, South Carolina, he was the son of the late Homer and Lillie Mae Ferguson.
He is survived by his daughters, Angie Ferguson and Mia Brackin, his granddaughter, Bailey Birdwell, great-grandchildren, Braylon and Cohen Williams and Callahan Birdwell and his dear sister, Kay Robertson who has many fond memories and stories of her beloved brother. He was preceded in death by his brother, Gary Ferguson and grandson Cody Brackin.
Frank attended many churches over the years including Clearview Baptist Church of Greenville, South Carolina of which he was a member, Cleveland First Baptist Church in Cleveland, South Carolina and Scenic Hills Baptist in Traveler's Rest, South Carolina. He was also a member of the Scott Ferguson Scottish Clan. He owned commercial landscaping companies, Ground Control as well as The Lawn Ranger. He was a devoted Gamecocks fan. Frank was proud of his grandkids and loved showing pictures of them whenever he got the chance. He loved his daughters with all of his heart. He was very creative, loved flowers, and making things pretty. He was a family-oriented, free spirit who loved life. He had a positive outlook on everything and would always say, "It'll all work out". Frank had many many friends. He had a great sense of humor and was always armed with a riddle. He was "Ampa" to his grandchildren, was loved deeply, and will be greatly missed.
