Virginia Elizabeth Brannon

Virginia "Ginny" Brannon, age 93, of Lakeland, Florida, passed peacefully in her sleep in the early hours of September 9, 2022.
Born in Miltonvale, Kansas, she was the daughter of the late Archie C. and Mable Elizabeth Belisle.
She leaves behind her children, Sherry LaBrie and her husband, Tom, Beth Eifert and her husband Tom and Carl Brannon III and his wife, Kim. She will be missed by her grandchildren, Becky (Pat) Fellows, Jessica Eifert, Nathan (Jessaca) Eifert, Anna Brannon, Jeremiah Brannon, Josh Brannon and Sarah Brannon, and great grandchildren, Katie, Seth, Lizzie and Gemma. She is survived by her sister Margaret Ann Henry and many beloved nieces and nephews.. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Carlos Brannon Jr. on March, 29, 1999 and her only brother, Rex Belisle.
Ginny attended Light and Life Free Methodist Church in Lakeland and was a schoolteacher at Olson Elementary in Woodstock, Illinois. She adored her family. She was a remarkable storyteller who could remember details of her life in vivid detail. She had a quick wit, was a wonderful hostess and a great cook. Her unconditional love, wit, wisdom and sassy attitude will be sorely missed, but ninety three and a half years have given her time to leave a beautiful legacy for a family who adored her. She was Mom, Granny and Great Grandma. In her own words, "I have lived a long life, a good life, and a blessed life". As words fail to express how deeply she was loved and how greatly she will be missed, she is resting well in Jesus' arms alongside her husband, Walter and many of her family members.
A memorial service for Ginny will be on December 17, 2022, at Light and Life Free Methodist Church, 5730 Deeson Rd, Lakeland, FL 33810. Time is TBD.
