Veronica Ellen Hutchinson

Veronica Ellen Hutchinson, passed away on January 13, 2026, in Lakeland, Florida, at the age of 66. Born on February 9, 1959, in Detroit, Michigan, Veronica's life was a tapestry of devotion to her family, her faith, and her passions.

Veronica was the beloved daughter of the late Pasquale "Pat" Venditti and Roberta Thorton. She is survived by her devoted husband of 38 years, Steve Hutchinson; her cherished daughters, Melissa Horhan and Missy Bryant; and her sister, Judy Fifer Nelson. She was predeceased by her son, Dennis "D" Gabula, and by her siblings, Rita and Robert Bennett. Veronica also leaves behind many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews who will forever treasure her memory.

Veronica deeply loved her family and cherished every moment spent with them. As we bid farewell to her, we celebrate a life lived with purpose and passion. Her spirit, a gentle whisper in the wind, will continue to guide and inspire us. Though she has left this earthly realm, the love she shared will forever be woven into the fabric of our lives.

Friends and family will be received at Lanier Funeral and Cremation Services, on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM.
A graveside service will follow at Oakhill Burial Park. The family invites everyone to lunch at 9175 Bryant Rd, Lakeland, Florida 33809 after the graveside service.
