Timothy Wayne Johnson

Mr. Timothy Wayne Johnson unexpectedly entered into eternal rest on October 3, 2021, from a massive heart attack.

Wayne was born in Lakeland FL on November 7, 1964, to parents Clifford and Mary Lois Johnson. As a child, Wayne enjoyed being outdoors, hunting and fishing with his father, Clifford, as well as spending time with his sister, Sheila, and many cousins. Wayne attended and subsequently graduated from Kathleen High School, class of '82. Wayne worked for Publix Supermarkets during high school and for a short time after graduation before pursuing other ventures. Wayne would later become a self-proclaimed handyman, always willing to help anyone he could.

Wayne was outgoing and always the life of the party. He enjoyed making those around him laugh and could always be counted on for a quick-witted joke when it was needed most. Wayne carried his love for fishing throughout the remainder of his life. Most importantly, always a "Mama's boy", Wayne was never far from his beloved mother, Lois. His larger than life personality and immense love for his family will continue to carry his memory on.

Wayne is survived by his wife, Janet Johnson of Lakeland; Parents, Clifford and Mary Lois Johnson of Lakeland; Sister, Sheila Sarvis of Lakeland; Daughter, Ashley Rice of Lakeland; and Grandchildren Madison and Maverick Rice of Lakeland.
Services for Wayne will be held at Lanier Funeral Home on October 8th 2021. Visitation will be held from 10-11am with a service to be held immediately thereafter. On line condolence may be left for the family at Lanier.care.
