Teresa Sue Smith, a woman of love and adventure, passed away peacefully on December 2, 2025, at the age of 69. Born on October 31, 1956, in Plant City, Florida, Teresa was a woman whose zest for life was as bright as the Florida sun.
Teresa's journey began as the daughter of Eston and Mary Lou Easters, who instilled in her the values of family and joy for the simple pleasures in life. She grew up alongside her siblings, Tony Easters and Debbie McGee, in a home filled with laughter and love. Although her parents and sister have predeceased her, the legacy of their warmth continues to live on through Teresa.
She is survived by her loving children, Kathy Sullivan and Rock Williamson. Her son, Karl Williamson, whom she adored, predeceased her, leaving a space in her heart that she filled with cherished memories. Teresa's family expanded to include several beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren, each of whom she adored with her whole heart.
Teresa found love with her husband, Bob Smith, who passed before her. Together, they shared a life that was full of laughter, support, and mutual respect.
Professionally, Teresa served the community of Hillsborough County with dedication as a school bus driver. Her commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of countless children over the years earned her the respect and affection of both her colleagues and the families she served.
Teresa's interests were as vibrant as her personality. She was an avid motorcycle rider, embracing the freedom of the open road with a spirit that was contagious. Her love for the casino was more than a hobby; it was an expression of her willingness to take chances and embrace the excitement that life had to offer.
Above all, Teresa was loving. Her capacity to care for others, to offer a smile, a kind word, or a listening ear, made her a cherished friend and confidante to many. Her adventurous nature was matched only by the size of her heart, making her a treasured presence in the lives of all who knew her.
As we say goodbye to Teresa Sue Smith, we celebrate a life lived to the fullest. Her laughter, her courage, and her unwavering love will continue to inspire us. Teresa's story is not one of sadness, but of a life well-lived, a journey marked by joy, love, and the courage to embrace every adventure. She will be dearly missed, but her spirit will forever ride on in the hearts of those she touched.
