Steven Clere Obituary

Steven Craig Clere, a man of unwavering faith and boundless friendliness, passed away on January 10, 2025, at the age of 63, in Brandon, Florida. Born on January 31, 1961, in Bridgeport, Connecticut, to Glenda Thompson and the late Jack Clere, Steven's life was a testament to love, service, and dedication.

Steven's journey through life was marked by his commitment to his family, his work, and his community. He shared a beautiful and loving marriage with his wife, Denise Clere, who, along with their son, Matthew Clere, and Steven's brother, Mark Clere, survives him. His family was the cornerstone of his life, and he cherished every moment spent with them.

A graduate with a Bachelor's degree, Steven dedicated many years of his career as an auditor at the Florida Department of Revenue. His meticulous nature and strong work ethic made him a respected figure among his colleagues and within the professional community.

Steven's faith played a central role in his life. He was a devoted member of the Medulla Baptist Church, where he found great joy in fellowship and worship. His commitment to living out his faith was further exemplified through his involvement with the Kairos ministry, where he touched the lives of many with his compassion and kindness.

Beyond his professional and spiritual commitments, Steven had a passion for the simple pleasures in life. He found solace in yardwork, taking pride in creating a welcoming space for his family and friends. College football was another of his interests, and he could often be found cheering on his favorite teams with enthusiasm and joy.

Those who knew Steven will remember him as a friendly, faith-filled, and loving individual. His warm smile and generous spirit left a lasting impact on everyone he met. Steven's legacy is one of love and the joy he found in the everyday moments of life.

As we bid farewell to Steven Craig Clere, we celebrate a life well-lived and cherish the memories he leaves behind. His spirit will continue to inspire and guide us, and he will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
