Sheila Johnson Sarvis, 65, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 9th, 2026.
Born in Lakeland on September 28, 1960, Sheila was the beloved daughter of Clifford and Mary "Lois" Johnson. She graduated from Kathleen High School in the top 25 of her class. Sheila earned her LPN certification and dedicated many years of compassionate care to her patients at Watson Clinic.
Sheila found joy in life's simple and beautiful moments. She loved spending time with her family and friends, relaxing at the beach, visiting the mountains, watching the sunset, and admiring the leaves changing in the fall. She also had a special love for Donny Osmond, and even traveled to Las Vegas to see him perform — a memory she treasured.
Sheila was a blessing to everyone who knew her.
She had a smile that could brighten any room and always offered encouragement, comfort, and kindness to those around her. She was a faithful Christian and a devoted member of Fellowship Church in Lakeland.
Sheila was preceded in death by her mother, Lois Johnson, and brother, Timothy "Wayne" Johnson.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 42 years, Kevin Sarvis; children, Shanna Sarvis and Cory(Jackie) Sarvis; grandchildren, Waylon and Jolene Sarvis; father, Clifford Johnson; sister, Ashley Rice; niece Madison Rice; nephew Maverick Rice, and many extended family members and dear friends who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.
Friends and family will be received from 12-1pm on Wednesday, May 20th at Lanier Funeral & Cremation Services in Lakeland. Funeral services will follow at 1pm with a graveside service afterward at Bethel Baptist Cemetery.
Though deeply missed, Sheila's love, faith, and gentle spirit will continue to live on in all who knew and loved her.
