Richard Allen Reynolds, 74 passed away April 28, 2021 at Lakeland Regional Health, holding his youngest daughter's hand.
He was born December 5, 1946, in Winston-Salem, NC to Jake and Sally Mae Reynolds. He grew up and was raised in Cooleemee, NC.
Richard was a brick mason for over 30 years and enjoyed playing the guitar and giving his grandkids ride on his lawn mower when they were younger. He had a hilarious sense of humor and could make anyone laugh. He moved to Lakeland in March 2011 to live with his youngest daughter and her family.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Cathy, his grandparents, Clyde and Josephine Whitley, along with several cousins.
His survivors include his children, Lindsey "Nikki" Reynolds Brault (Michael) Lakeland, FL, Jason Reynolds -Boomer, NC, Melissa Reynolds (Rocky) Yadkinville, NC, Scotty Reynolds - Mocksville, NC; grandchildren, Brandon, Curtis, Aiden, and Tristen Brault, and Debra Harvey all of Lakeland, FL; Dylan Reynolds - Boomer, NC, Hannah Chavers (Kenny) Fayetteville, NC, Logan Rucker - Yadkinvillle, NC; 4 great grandchildren; along with a special friend of 40 years, Linda Sue Peacock - Woodleaf, NC.
He was a loving father, papaw, and friend.
