Randy Milling Obituary

Randy Ray Milling passed away peacefully on July 2, 2024, at the age of 67, in the same town where he was born. Born on April 30, 1957, to the late Russell and Ina Milling, Randy's life was a testament to the values of love, humor, and selflessness that he embodied so fully.

Randy's journey began in Lakeland, Florida, where he grew up surrounded by a large, loving family. He was one of seven siblings, three of whom predeceased him. Randy's legacy continues through his devoted children, Amy (Jorge) Espinosa and Jennifer (Justin) Elliott , who were the light of his life, along with his six adored grandchildren: Clayton, Dalton, Jace, Emmarie, Annistyn, and Lachlan.

For over four decades, Randy dedicated his career to Lakeland Electric as a lineman, a role that showcased his commitment to hard work and service to others. His colleagues knew him as a man who could always be relied upon, both professionally and personally. Randy's work ethic was matched only by his dedication to his community, as evidenced by his longstanding involvement with the Free Masons.

Outside of work, Randy was known as a simple man who found joy in life's everyday pleasures. He was an excellent cook, famous for his BBQ, and his love for gardening and yardwork was evident in the beautiful surroundings he created at his home. Randy's love for his family was the cornerstone of his life, and he cherished every moment spent with them.

Those who knew Randy will remember him for his loving nature, his quick wit, and his selfless approach to life. He had a knack for making people laugh and always put the needs of others before his own. Randy's passing leaves a void in the hearts of all who loved him, but his spirit will continue to inspire those he left behind.

Randy's life will be celebrated in the memories of his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him. As we bid farewell to Randy Ray Milling, we hold tight to the laughter, love, and kindness he shared with us all. His was a life well-lived, and he will be deeply missed.
