Patricia Ann Samples

Patricia Ann Samples, 88, passed away on June 14, 2023, at home in Lakeland, FL.
Patricia was born on March 20, 1935, in Delaware, to parents Axel and Eva Jones Krantz.
Patricia worked as a nurse for many years in Delaware and California. When she was able, she regularly attended Southside Assembly of God church in Lakeland. She enjoyed going out to eat. In her assisted living community, she enjoyed bake sales and was involved with clubs and activities. In her younger years, she attended camp every year and would stay on for the rest of the summers to assist the camp counselors.
Patricia was preceded in death by her husband of 20 years, Leeman F. Samples, her parents, siblings, Albert (Dee) Krantz, Artie Krantz and Howard Krantz (MIA WW2), and Esther (Mercer) Reynolds, and daughter-in-law, Theresa Eastburn.
Patricia is survived by her children, Steven L. Eastburn, Sheryl (Russell) Cross, and Sheila (John) Ricketts, grandchildren, Jason DeRousse, Steven F. (Katie) Eastburn, and Shannon Cross, great grandchildren, Tyler (Brianna) DeRousse and Seth (Hannah) DeRousse, and great great-grandchildren, Ashton, and Dallas DeRousse, and her sister-in-law Toni Krantz.
Services will be held privately by the family.
