Nolton P. Hornsby

Nolton P. Hornsby, 82 of Lakeland passed away February 20, 2021.

Born in Lakeland, he was the son of the later John and Elenora Hornsby.

Nolton was also preceded in death by a grandson, Joshua Jackson.

His survivors include his wife of 62 years, Sue Robinson Hornsby; children, Jeff Hornsby (Karen), Robin Illgen (David); siblings, Norma Ready, Linda Greenhaugh (J.D.), Gilbert Hornsby, Deborah; 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren.

Nolton was retired from Publix Supermarkets after 25 years, working in the print shop and security.

He had served in the Army National Guard and was a member of New Home Baptist Church. He loved woodworking, bottle collecting and fishing.

The family will receive friends from 10-11am, Wednesday, February 24, 2021, Lanier Funeral and Cremation Services, 717 Griffin Road, Lakeland, with services to follow at 11am.
