Nellie Welch

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Nellie Welch, who peacefully entered heaven to reunite with the love of her life, her husband Kenneth Welch, who passed away two years ago. Together again, they now rest in eternal peace.

Nellie comes from a family of eight, 5 girls, 3 boys. She is survived by her 3 daughters, Kimberly, Tina, and Rebecca, and her loving grandchildren, Joseph, Jasmine, Christopher, Bianca, Anthony, Janelle, and Pauly, each of whom brought immense joy and pride to her life

Nellie retired from FINRA NYC after 33 years as a Senior Analyst. She opted for a life of giving back to the community, volunteering with the Lakeland Fire and Rescue CERTS Team, Central Florida Red Cross, and Bonnet Springs CAPS Program. She was also involved with her HOA community and was an avid Pickleball player.

Nellie and Kenny lived on Staten Island, where they joined Catholic Charities and opened their home, fostering many children. Nellie was a gift to humanity.

A mother's love is eternal, and hers will continue to shine through every life she touched.
