Najieh K. Wassef

Najieh K. Wassef, 87, passed away peacefully on October 31, 2025, in Lakeland, Florida. Born on May 25, 1938, in Cairo, Egypt, Najieh's life was filled with love, faith, and devotion to her family.

She was reunited in heaven with her beloved husband, Wassef Soloman Wassef, and her parents, Kaoud and Deminah. She is lovingly remembered by her children — Soloman, Mary, Merzek, Said, Sabat, and Nelly — along with 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, all of whom she adored beyond measure.

Najieh's faith was the heart of who she was. As a devoted member of the Coptic Orthodox Church in Jerusalem, she lived her beliefs through kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for others. Her family and friends will always remember her gentle spirit, wise words, and joyful presence.

Najieh will be deeply missed, but her warmth and love will live on forever in the hearts of all who knew her.


Family and friends are invited to gather on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, from 12:00-1:00 PM at Lanier Funeral and Cremation Services in Lakeland, FL, with a funeral service at 1:00 PM.
