Miguel Matias-Jiminez Obituary

Miguel Matias-Jiminez, age 17, of Lakeland, FL passed away on January 1, 2023.

Born in San Miguel Acatan, Guatemala, he was the son of Miguel Matias and Guadalupe Jiminez.

Miguel came to the United States for a better life and opportunities. He attended Kathleen High School where he was a sophomore. Miguel will be laid to rest in Guatemala.

A funeral Mass will be Friday, January 13, 2022, at 4:00 PM at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, 820 Marcum Rd, Lakeland, FL 33809. The family will receive friends Friday, January 13, 2023, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Lanier Funeral and Cremation Services, 717 Griffin Road, Lakeland, FL 33805.
