Maynard Ray Elliott, Jr.

Maynard Ray "Rocky" Elliott, Jr., 67, passed away unexpectedly on June 14, 2023, in Lakeland, Florida.
Maynard was born on May 15, 1956, in Lakeland, FL to parents Maynard Ray Sr. and Sylvia Wells Elliott.
Rocky worked as a cemetery operator in Oak Hill Burial Park for several years. He was a kind and loving husband. On his Harley Road King and she on her Indian, he thoroughly enjoyed riding motorcycles with his wife, Kristen, and mother-in-law, Reba. He enjoyed air boating and was especially fond of metal detecting. He was a member of the Gold Digging Club. It was a longtime goal and dream to go out west to camp and dig for gold alongside Kristena.
Rocky was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Farron Tozian, and niece, Millona Tozian, and was by his wife's side when they lost her mother, Reba Harnage, last month, May 14, 2023.
Maynard is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Kristena Elliott, stepson, Chris (Tracy) Parks, grandchildren, Austin, Dalton, and Destiny Parks, and nephew Isaac Tozian.
Friends and family will be received Monday, June 19, 2023, at 10:00 AM at Lanier Funeral and Cremation Services, 717 Griffin Road Lakeland, FL 33805.
A funeral service will be held Monday, June 19, 2023, at 11:00 AM with Pastor Dewayne Howard officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Burial Park in Lakeland, FL.
