Matthew Thomas Browning

Matthew Thomas Browning, a cherished father, brother, son, and friend, passed away on April 29, 2025, in Winter Haven, Florida, at the age of 42. Born on November 1, 1982, in Vincennes, Indiana.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Jean Browning, his aunts Marsha Palanis and Sharon Spence, his uncle Tony Hartman, and cousin Patrick Gentle. He is survived by his father, Karl Browning, his sister, Megann (JJ) Morris, his son, Easton Browning and Easton’s mother, Stephanie Piper. He is also survived by his uncle Spencer (Rosemary) Browning, his uncle Eric Spence, and his cousins Jason (Kara) Spence, Marcus Spence, Caroline Spence, and Charlotte Spence.

Matthew was a man of many passions, with a particular love for the game of golf. His skill on the greens was only matched by his enthusiasm as an avid Florida State University fan. 

As we bid farewell to Matthew Thomas Browning, we celebrate the time we were fortunate enough to share with him. His memory will be cherished and kept alive through the stories we tell and the love we carry forward. 

A celebration of life will be planned by the family.
