Mary K. McClure

Mary K. McClure, 91, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on October 21, 2023, in Lakeland, Florida. Born on September 11, 1932, in Gastonia, North Carolina, Mary was one of nine children born to Joseph and Carrie (Davidson) Ballard.
Mary was predeceased by her husbands, James Ellis Hill and Clayton E. McClure, as well as her daughters, Jeanne Byars and Linda Reynolds. Mary is survived by her sons-in-law, John Byars and Buddy Reynolds, her cherished granddaughter, Gina (Michael) Norton, and her adored great-grandchildren, Clayton and Genaya Norton.
Mary's professional life was dedicated to helping others as a physical therapy assistant in an orthopedic clinic in Daytona Beach.
Mary regularly attended Victory Assembly of God Church in Lakeland, where she was actively involved with the Seniors Ministry. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life, and she found great joy in her church community.
She was a wonderful mother and grandmother, always putting the needs of her family before her own. Her home was a place of warmth and love; she was a steadfast friend to many. Mary will be remembered as a loving mother, a devoted grandmother, and a faithful friend. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her, and she will be deeply missed.
