Marjorie J. Plemons

Marjorie Plemons, age 95, of Lakeland, FL passed away on July 16, 2022.
A native of Lakeland, Florida, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Evella Jones.
She is survived by her daughters, Gail Lovering and Becky (Dave) Smith. She leaves behind her grandchildren, Kim Lovering, Stacy (Janie) Runnels and Jennifer (David) Vitito, great-grandchildren, Taylor, Rachel, Paul, Brooke, Jakob, Hunter and Kyle and great great grandchildren, Ella, Mila, Winter, Karson and Cameron, and grand dog Harley.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl, her parents, and sister, Leatrice Reynolds.
Marjorie was a member of Scott Lake Baptist Church in Lakeland. She was a waitress when she was young and raised Gail and Becky on her own. She enjoyed going to the North Carolina mountains to vacation, going to the beach and shopping. She absolutely adored her family and loved spending time with them. She was a great mom who had a smile for everyone and a great outlook on life. She was a very proud woman, who always took care of herself, cared about how she looked and continued to look great. She was a strong, independent woman who loved life. Marjorie was a grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother of five generations who will be greatly missed.
The family will receive friends July 29, 2022 at 10:00 AM. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 at Scott Lake Baptist Church 5811 Scott Lake Rd, Lakeland, FL 33813.
