Maria Lepkowski Obituary

Maria Theresa Lepkowski, A woman of love and intelligence, passed away peacefully on March 18, 2024, in Tampa, Florida, at the age of 51. Born on January 6, 1973, in Hollywood, California, Maria's passion for life and learning was evident from an early age. She was a cherished daughter to her mother, Juana M. Carrillo, and her late father, Ralph A. Perez. Maria's warmth and guidance will be profoundly missed by her devoted husband, Robert C. Lepkowski, and her beloved son, Nicholas R. Lepkowski.

Maria's academic pursuits were a testament to her dedication and drive. She earned not one, but two master's degrees from American International College, specializing in education and business administration. Her intellectual curiosity and commitment to excellence were hallmarks of her character, traits that she carried into her professional life with grace.

In her career as a tax accountant, Maria was known for her meticulous attention to detail and her ability to unravel the most complex financial puzzles. Her colleagues respected her for her sharp mind and her clients trusted her for her unwavering integrity. Maria's professional life was more than a job; it was a reflection of her passion for helping others navigate the often-daunting world of finance.

Maria's love for her community was as boundless as her love for her family. She was an active member of Victory Church, where she poured her heart into the Kids Club at the Dream Center and Victory Girls Ministries. Her dedication to these programs was a clear expression of her desire to make a difference in the lives of young people. Maria's efforts helped shape a nurturing environment where children could grow, learn, and feel valued.

Beyond her professional and community service accomplishments, Maria was a woman of many interests. She had an enduring love for all things Disney, and her eyes would light up with the mention of Walt Disney World. Visiting Disney brought her much joy and excitement.

Those who knew Maria would describe her as loving, intelligent, and passionate. She approached every aspect of her life with a full heart and a keen mind, whether she was solving a complex problem at work, volunteering her time for the betterment of others, or simply enjoying the company of her family and friends.

Maria leaves behind a legacy of love and wisdom that will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her. She is survived by her husband, Robert; her son, Nicholas; her mother, Juana; her sister, Danielle Perez-Warren (David); and her niece and nephew, Danae and Dominic Warren. Her spirit, a blend of compassion and intellect, will live on in the memories of her family and all who were touched by her remarkable life.
