Lynn Allen Ours, age 57, of Lakeland, FL passed away on October 2, 2022.
Born November 19, 1964 in Lancaster, Ohio, he was the son of Glenn Ours and Juanita Ellen Harmon. His mother still survives.
Allen is also survived by his step mother, Elizabeth Ours, two sisters, Brenda (Jim) Nagle and Tammi (Paul) Ely, three daughters, Amber (Jeff) Jarrell, Shyanne Ours, Destiny Ours and his son, Cameron Ours. He leaves behind his seven grandchildren, Madison, Noah, Jeremiah, Sarah, Jacob, Emily and Luke, two great-granddaughters, Maleia and Malaysia, his bonus children, Amy (Chris) Kimbro, Joe (Kaylee) Hughes, Doug (Shannon) Hughes and grandchildren, Taylor, Joseph, Krystin, Cameron, Alexander, Garrett, London, Griffin and Lincoln as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Allen touched many lives. Each one has memories and stories to tell. He loved his family and friends and he was loved by all. Allen worked hard and was a good provider. He owned his own building and construction company and with it helped build Crestview Baptist Church in Lakeland where he was also a member. He was proud to have built his church and was the man to call if something needed building. He was a proud man who lived life on his terms and didn't hurt anyone in the process. He was a good man and quite a character. He absolutely loved his Florida State Seminoles. This past year had been hard because he wasn't able to do the things he wanted to do. He has shed that old body and the Lord has given him a new one. He is healthy and happy. He is now with his family and friends who have gone on before him. Allen was a faithful Christian who is now with his Lord. He surely will be missed.
