Lourdes Dominguez Chaparro, 60 of Lakeland passed away September 6, 2020.
Born in Havana, Cuba, she was the daughter of the late Ignatio Dominguez and Olga Valdez.
Her survivors include her husband of 38 years, Andres Chaparro; children, Christopher Chaparro (Helene), Andre Chaparro, Karinna Chaparro, Keanna Chaparro, Cameron Chaparro; siblings, Barbara and Olga.
Lourdes and Andres were foster parents for over 30 years, serving hundreds of children. She was a member of John 3:16 Church in Lakeland and loved to clean house and cook for everyone.
The family will receive friends from 6-8pm, Wednesday, September 9, 2020, Lanier Funeral and Cremation Services, 717 Griffin Road, with a service to follow on Thursday morning at 11am.
