Linda Dianne Shelfer, 74, passed away on February 04, 2023 at 15:21 at Lakeland Regional Health in Lakeland, FL.
Linda was born on January 15, 1949, in Cuthbert, Georgia to John and Gussie Hammock (Hunt).
Linda worked as a bus driver for the Hardee County School System for 30+ years. She also drove a semi-truck and worked as a cattle rancher with her husband, James. A well-rounded woman, she was also a successful hairdresser. She was an avid and devoted Elvis Presley fan, was of the Baptist faith, and loved her family very much.
Preceded in death by her beloved husband of many years, James Larry Shelfer who passed away in 2019 and her brother, Michael Hammock.
Linda is survived by three children, her sister, Brenda Kennedy, ten grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Services will be held privately.
