Linda Pearson Obituary

Linda Pearson, age 82, of Auburndale, passed away on February 4, 2022.
Born in Rutland, Vermont, she was the daughter of the late Cuyler and Marion Smith.
She leaves behind her husband, Lee, children, Sandy (Francisco) Ceniseros, Ray (Deborah) Cuzzone, Kathleen (Sam) Heard, and David Pearson. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Carolyn (Steve) Andrew. Steve survives. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren, Angie, Linda, Scott, Craig, Katee, Kristee, Josh, Samantha, Derek, Andrew and Hannah and 14 great grandchildren.

Linda was a member of Family Worship Center in Lakeland and worked alongside her husband, Lee, as manager of Wedgewood Golf Course (formerly Carpenter's Home Golf Course) as well as the Bartow Golf Course. She was den mother to boy scouts and a member of the Lakeland Chamber of Commerce where she received the Sunshine Award. She and Lee were members of the Lion's club, and she volunteered for various fundraisers. She enjoyed knitting, playing golf, cooking and shopping "professionally". She was an avid sports fan, especially baseball and football. She loved going to theme parks and absolutely adored spending time with her grandchildren and great- grandchildren. She had a way with words and not only did she cheer for the West Springfield High School squad in Massachusetts, she was everyone's personal cheerleader in life. She was Lee's partner in life for what would have been 50 years. Linda will be sorely missed.
The family will receive friends Tuesday February 15, 2022 from 10:00 to 11:00 at the Family Worship Center 1350 E. Main St. Lakeland. Funeral services will immediately follow at 11:00am.
A graveside service will be held at a later date. She will be laid to rest at Oak Hill Burial Park in Lakeland.
