Linda Sue Newmans

Linda Sue Newmans passed away on February 6, 2026, in Lakeland, Florida, at the age of 86. She was born on March 7, 1939, in Decatur, Alabama, to the late John W. Colbern and Ruby King.

Linda was preceded in death by her adored children, Melanie and Shannon Newmans, as well as her loving sister, Sarah Addison.

She is survived by her beloved granddaughters, Anna and Karissa Newmans.

Linda was a loving and kind woman who deeply valued her family and those close to her. She will be remembered for her gentle nature and the love she showed throughout her life. As we bid farewell to Linda Sue Newmans, we celebrate a life beautifully lived and her memory will be cherished. Her journey on earth has ended, but her story will be told for generations to come, a story of love, family, and the grace that she embodied every day of her life.
