Lenard Beck Obituary

Lenard Anthony Beck, a cherished family man and respected community member, passed away peacefully on March 5, 2026, in Lakeland, Florida. Born on November 7, 1954, in Midland, Michigan, Lenard's life was a testament to the power of love, dedication, and kindness.

Lenard was the beloved son of the late John William Beck and Irene Agnes Fitak. He was a devoted husband to his late spouse, Shary Beck, with whom he shared a beautiful life after they wed on August 17, 1988. Shary's passing in January 2015 was a profound loss for Lenard, yet he continued to embody the strength and compassion that characterized their union.

He was a loving father to Lenard Beck II, married to Arlene, and Elliott Beck, married to Ashley. His role as a father was one of his greatest joys, and his guidance and love shaped the lives of his children in countless ways. Lenard's legacy also lives on through his adored grandchildren, Brileigh, Loralyn, Atalie, and Logan Davis, who will forever cherish memories of their doting grandfather.

Lenard's siblings, John Beck II (Linda), Robert Beck, Tom Beck (Linda), and Jean Beck, will remember him as a steadfast brother whose support and camaraderie were unwavering. His presence in their lives was a source of comfort and joy.

Professionally, Lenard was a dedicated employee at Giant Supermarket in Midland, Michigan, for many years before relocating to Florida, where he continued his career at Weyerhaeuser in Lakeland.

Lenard's faith was an integral part of his life. As a member of Resurrection Catholic Church and School, he found strength and community. His interests were diverse and heartfelt, from the art of painting gnomes to the competitive spirit of fantasy sports. Above all, Lenard was a loving individual. His capacity to care deeply for his family and friends defined him. He was a great man and a good father, always willing to go the extra mile for those he loved. His absence will be profoundly felt by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

As we bid farewell to this remarkable man, we celebrate the enduring impact he has left on our hearts and the community he so dearly loved. His spirit will continue to guide and inspire us, and his memory will be treasured forever.
