Kenneth L. Crawford

Kenneth L. Crawford, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on December 10, 2025, in Lakeland, Florida, at the age of 89. Born on October 5, 1936, in Avon Park, Florida, to the late Pete and Minnie Crawford, Kenneth's life was marked by dedication, service, and the joy of creation.

He is survived by his wife, Charlotte, whom he lovingly married in September 1960, his children, Gary Crawford and Susan Crawford, his granddaughter, Zoey, and his sister, Barbara Denton.

A patriot at heart, Kenneth served his country with honor for 20 years in the United States Air Force. His dedication to his nation did not cease upon his retirement from the military; he continued to serve the community as a probation parole officer for the State of Florida Corrections Department. His work ethic and integrity in his professional life were a testament to his character.

Beyond his professional achievements, Kenneth was known among his friends and family as a man of many talents. His hands could skillfully build and create, bringing his imaginative visions to life. He was a regular at Edwards Pipe Store, where he and his friends formed a cigar club, sharing stories and camaraderie over their shared appreciation for fine cigars.

Kenneth L. Crawford's life was a tapestry of service, family, and friendship. As we bid farewell to this remarkable man, we celebrate the enduring impact he has made on the lives of so many. He will be deeply missed, but the memories he created will forever be a source of comfort and inspiration.


A Graveside service will take place on Saturday, December 20th, 2025 at 12:00 PM at Oakhill Burial Park, 4620 US Highway 98 S
Lakeland, FL.
