Julia Mae Bell, age 90, of Lakeland, FL passed away on September 3, 2022.
A native of Webster, Florida, she was the daughter of the late Curtis Lee and Annie Mae Bell.
She leaves behind her children, Paul Bell and his wife, Joy, Mary Crews and Clinton "Butchie" Bell. She will be missed by her 12 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon in 1997, her parents, her siblings, James, Jimmy and Albert Watson and her children, William Bell and Linda Diane Ginel.
Julia Mae worked as a store clerk for many years. She loved to fish in fresh water and was particularly fond of her speckled perch. She spoiled her kids-so much that she ironed their jeans for school. They have fond memories of having the sharpest, creased jeans in school. She had a great sense of humor and was a great cook, especially her homemade macaroni & cheese. She enjoyed feeding her birds in the backyard, working in her flower garden and embroidery. She took care of her family. When she wasn't working, she found time to go to church and loved going with her kids. She was good at finding flea markets, enjoyed shopping and loved pretty clothes. You could always find her and Leon on the lake fishing together. She loved being outdoors, going camping and just sitting on the bank with a pole in her hand. She was a good Mama and a good Grandma. She didn't have a single enemy. People loved her. She lived a long life and will be greatly missed.
