Juan Dejesus Rivera, a cherished family man, devout Christian, and respected member of the Iglesia Luz y Verdad, passed away on June 13, 2025, in Lakeland, Florida. Born on February 18, 1948, in Cayey, Puerto Rico, Juan's life was a testament to his unwavering faith, love for his family, and commitment to his community.
Juan was the beloved son of the late Alejandro Dejesus and Alejandrina Rivera. He was a devoted husband to his wife, Lydia Dejesus, with whom he shared a lifetime of love and memories. Together, they raised a family that included their late son, Javier, and their two surviving sons, Elias and Ruben. Juan's legacy continues through his five adoring grandchildren, Chayah, Yajaira, Xavier, Emmanuel, and Karina, and his five great-grandchildren, who brought him immense joy and pride.
Juan's siblings, Artemio, Jacob, Carmen, Ela Virgen, Rosalia, and Raquel, will remember him as a guiding light and pillar of strength within their family. His presence will be deeply missed, but the memories they created will be cherished forever.
Juan's work ethic and dedication were evident in all his endeavors. He was a man who believed in the value of hard work, integrity, and service to others. His involvement in the church and the community left a lasting impact, and his absence will be felt by many.
As we bid farewell to Juan Dejesus Rivera, we celebrate a life well-lived, marked by devotion to family, faith, and community. His spirit will live on in the hearts of those he touched, and his example will continue to guide us. Juan's journey on earth has ended, but his story will be told for generations to come, as a man who lived with purpose and love.
