Joy Marie Franzino

Joy Marie Franzino, age 80, of Bartow, FL passed away on December 22, 2022.
A native of Manhattan, New York, she was the daughter of the late John and Ethel Franzino.
She leaves behind her only daughter, Stephanie Tatlian-Craig and son-in-law, John, her sister, Gale Hysler, her only niece, Christine (Curt) Barnhill, her grand niece and nephew, Jenna and Ryan as well as her ex-husband, friend and caretaker, Kenneth Verban.
Joy worked as a bookkeeper for Clark Environmental in Mulberry Florida. She loved playing pinocle and mahjong.  She was an active woman who was always on the go. She thoroughly enjoyed going to Yankees spring training games with Stephanie. She was lovingly considered 'outspoken' and outgoing. She was a great cook and loved animals. She was especially fond of cats. Toward the end of her life, pictures of cats put a smile on her face and made her feel better. She will forever be a Cat Lady.
The family will receive friends for a memorial gathering, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at Lanier Funeral & Cremation Services, 717 Griffin Rd, Lakeland, Florida . A memorial service will follow at 4:00 PM.
