Johnnie B Horne

Johnnie B. Horne, 97 of Lakeland passed away October 18, 2019.

Born in Oma, Mississippi, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Etna Mae Carpenter.

She was also preceded in death by her husbands, Horace Thompson and Walter Horne.

Johnnie’s survivors include daughter, Patti Baggett (John); grandchildren, Gerald Green (Teri), Rodney Green (Louanne), Dalisa Green (Tina); great grandchildren, Todd, Jerrett, Jessie, Josh; great-great grandchildren, Justin, Lola; nephews, Melvin Thompson, Billy Earl Thompson; special friends, Bob and Marilyn Haynes, and Bill and Tammy Erow.

Johnnie was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and had worked for Maas Brothers for 35 years as a waitress in the Suncoast Room.

The family would like to recognize the following organizations for their love and care of Johnnie; Vitas Hospice, VISTE. Lakeland Regional Health Palliative Care Unit.

The family will receive friends from 9:30-10am, Thursday, October 24, 2019, Lanier Funeral and Cremation Services, 717 Griffin Road, Lakeland, with a funeral to follow at 10am.
