Jeffrey Petica

Jeffrey Petica, age 42, of Lakeland, FL passed away on September 19, 2022.
A native of Massapequa, New York, he was the son of Gerol and Rena Petica.
He is survived by his father, his siblings, Gerald, Geraldine, Gertrude, Howard and Maureen Petica, nieces and nephews, Gerald Petica Jr, Derek Petica, Noel Charles, Robert Menard, Jacqueline Menard, Joseph, Wisna, Jean and Jouberi Pacius, Bercliff Fils-Aime, aunts, and uncles, Bacien Petica and family, Julienise Charles, Mislaine Petica and Jerone Petica, cousins, Tatiana Michel, Nerlande Bouaz, Josiana Bouaz, Jeanine Derival and family and Nikense Bouaz. He will be missed by his closest friends, Stehen Chu, Jonathan Sinkiwskij Kurt Riedel, Nicholas Riedel and Carl Riedel. He was preceded in death by his mother Rena.
Jeffrey was of Catholic faith and worked as a debt collections agent. He played baseball as a young man. He had a great personality, a good heart and was very friendly. He thoroughly enjoyed having a good time and was the life of the party. He was laid back, charismatic and very funny. He was very particular about cleanliness and adamant about all things being in their proper place. However, when it came to going to the gym or other such things, he was ok just sitting back and watching his true crime shows like 'NCIS' and '24'. He enjoyed being with his friends and loved them and he will be greatly missed.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, September 27, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Lanier Funeral and Cremation Services, 717 Griffin Road, Lakeland, FL 33805. A service Catholic prayer service will follow at 1:00 PM.
A graveside service will be held immediately following at Oak Hill Burial Park, 4620 US Hwy 98 S, Lakeland, FL 33812.
