James Almon Obituary
James "Charlie" Almon, 81 of Lakeland passed away November 19, 2021.
Born in Plant City, Florida, he was the son of the late John and Mary Almon.
He was also preceded in death by a son, James Almon, Jr.
His survivors include his wife of 28 years, Donna Smith Almon; children, Traci Schraenkler (Harold), Kerri Peyton (Greg); siblings, Thomas Almon (Deborah), Yvonne Bills (Chip); grandchildren, Andrew Taraski (Astrid), Falyn Heckman (Andrew), Ciarra Upthegrove (John), Braden Schraenkler; great grandchildren, Aurora, Oaklyn.
Charlie had worked for Florida Power for over 20 years as a welder; was a member of Victory Church and was in their Men's Group. He loved to dive and was a muscle car enthusiast.
The family will receive friends from 10-11am, Monday, November 29, 2021, Victory Church Chapel, Lakeland, with a service to follow at 11am.
