Isabel Goris, passed away on June 2, 2025, in Lakeland, Florida. Born on November 11, 1951, Isabel's life was a testament to the strength and warmth of her spirit. She was a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend who left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew her.
Isabel was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Rafael Goris, with whom she shared a lifetime of memories and love. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Jose Joaquin Peralta and Elida Beatriz Rodriguez, as well as her siblings Josefina, Cristina, Mercedes, Analucia, Altagracia, and Benito.
She is survived by her devoted children, Dolores Goris-Delarosa, Ingrid Goris, and Rafael Goris, as well as her siblings Joaquin, Mario, Analuz, Teodoro, Pancho, and Nelson who will forever cherish the lessons and love she imparted.
Isabel's life was enriched by the joy of her six grandchildren, Rosibel, Elany, Lauren, Amy, Sophia, and Bailey, and her adored great-grandchild, Elio. Each of them was a source of immense pride and happiness for Isabel, and she embraced every moment spent with them.
Isabel was a skilled domino player, known for her sharp mind and competitive spirit. She had a deep love for gardening, evident in the beauty that surrounded her home. She was a trusted source of all the home remedies, she shared her knowledge and care generously with family and friends.
As we bid farewell to Isabel Goris, we take solace in knowing that her spirit lives on through the love she shared and the lives she touched. Her journey on earth may have ended, but her story continues in the hearts of those who loved her. Isabel's life was a beautiful tapestry of devotion, joy, and unwavering faith, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 4th, 2025, at Lanier Funeral & Cremation Services, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm.
A mass will take place on Thursday, June 5th, 2025, at St Joseph's Catholic Church,210 W Lemon St, Lakeland, FL 33815, at 10:00 AM, Burial services will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery, E Lake Ave, Tampa, FL 33610.
