Hilda Lee (McMullen) Byrd

Hilda McMullen Byrd, 92 of Lakeland passed away January 10, 2021.

Born in Jakin, Georgia, she was the daughter of John and Chloella Miller McMullen.

She is survived by her children, William (Wanda) Byrd, Judy (Keith) Wilt, Gaylin (Lillie) Preston; five grandchildren, six great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren.

Hilda was retired from Lakeland Regional where she was a Cardiac Monitor Technician. She was also a member of Ignited Church, the United Order of the Confederacy and Kathleen Historical Society. Hilda loved to paint with oils, crochet, and work her puzzles.

The family will receive friends from 10-11am, Thursday, January 14, 2021, Lanier Funeral and Cremation Services, 717 Griffin Road, Lakeland, with services to follow at 11am. Her final interment will take place in Auburndale Memorial Park.
