Grace Blair Keeler, passed away on March 13, 2025, in Lakeland, Florida, at the age of 85. Born on October 10, 1939, in New York, New York, Grace's life was a testament to her enduring spirit and her unwavering commitment to enriching the lives of others.
Grace's journey through life was marked by her dedication to education and her passion for teaching. She earned a Master's degree and devoted 42 years to special education, specializing in teaching the deaf. Her ability to connect with her students and her innovative teaching methods left an indelible mark on countless lives. Grace's colleagues remember her as an outgoing individual who forged strong bonds within the teaching community, bonds that often blossomed into lifelong friendships.
Her intelligence and passion for her work were matched only by her love for her family. Grace was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Josephine Dibella, her sister, Anna Callaci, and her beloved husband, Mark Keeler, who passed away just last December.
She is survived by her son, Raymond Clifford Blair, her siblings, Mary Nasi and Ross Dibella (Kathy), her six grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will take place on Thursday, March 20th, 2025, at 10:30 am, at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
