Gloria Teresa Bennett

Gloria T Bennet 82 of Lake Placid, Florida died April 21, 2025 at Lake Placid Balmoral Senior assisted living.

Gloria was born in Minevile, New York August 1, 1942 to Anna and Benjamin Lopez.

Survivors include Patricia Bultema and her husband Kurt of Lake Placid, Florida, and eight grandchildren; Dylan Dubrey, Loukas Dubrey, Rebecca Dubrey, Heather Bellion and Nathan Gott, Joseph and Christine Bennett, Justine Bennett, Erickson Bennet and Robbie Bennett. She also survived by four great grandchildren; Kayden, Murphy Lou, Lincoln and Killian.

Gloria has three brothers and one beloved sister; Mike and Sharron Lopez, Steve Lopez, Roman and Lola Lopez and Carmen and Jerry Dobbs.

Gloria was predeceased by her parents, Anna and Benjamin Lopez, her son Benjamin Joseph Bennett,and her husband of 54 years Earl Eldred Bennett.
She lost two brother; Benjamin (Diane) Lopez, and Edward (surviving wife Libby).
Gloria had many friends.

Gloria was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, and will be deeply missed. She will remain in the hearts and memories of all who knew and loved her. Gloria loved her Lord.

Gloria delighted in cooking and entertaining her family and friends. She was a social butterfly and took great pleasure in playing cards and partaking in all the activities in her community of Hillside Lake Estates.

After a long and bountiful life, we rest easy knowing she is now in Father's arms and has joined her husband and son, and her entire heavenly family in the promised land.

A military burial will be held at the Veteran's National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida at the convenience of the family. Donations in her memory can be made to Alzheimer's Association.
