Gary Wayne Smith, 77 of Lakeland passed away May 4, 2021.

Born in Highland, Illinois, he was the son of Harold and Dorothy Smith.

His survivors include his wife of 25 years, Galta Rising Smith; son, Gary W. Smith, Jr.

Gary was a veteran of the US Army and an automobile mechanic with Midas for over 10 years. He loved to work jigsaw puzzles and play Solitaire.

The family will be having private services.
