Evie Sue Tillman, 75, of Lakeland, Florida, passed away on August 7, 2023.
Evie was born on October 16, 1947, in Mulberry, FL to Ward and Frances (Fewox) Beekman.
Evie worked as a medical assistant in doctor's offices for many years. She was a willful and strong woman who was known to have an ornery streak all the way to the end. She thoroughly enjoyed reading romance novels and spending time with her grandchildren.
Evie was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Diana Villareal and sister Kathy Beekman. She is survived by her daughter, Nichole (Douglas) Mitchell, her grandchildren, Anastasia Tillman, Teagan Mitchell, and Gabrielle Tillman, great-grandchildren, Harper, Kennedy, Gabriel, and Amara, and sisters, Beth Gannon and Jeanna Zentgraf.
Friends and family will be received Wednesday, August 16, at 1:00 PM at Lanier Funeral & Cremation Services, 717 Griffin Rd, Lakeland, FL 33805. A memorial service will follow at 2:00 PM.
