Emma Jean Silvers, 72, passed away on September 19, 2023.
Emma was born on April 21, 1951, in Tampa, Florida.
Emma was a businesswoman and entrepreneur who started her salon, 'Emma Family Hair Care', located on Edgewood in Lakeland.
She regularly attended Family Worship Center in Lakeland. She was an avid reader and loved playing family games, crocheting, and cooking. She was a strong, independent woman who spoke her mind. She was assertive, yet kind. She was a willful woman and an example of a true lady. She had class, a strong presence, and was truly lovely. She was sweet and giving and a beacon of kindness.
Emma was preceded in death by her mother, Maetta (Combee) Storms, her sons, David Lester Silvers and Sean Ryan Silvers and her siblings Annette and Junior. She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Lester Silvers, her children, Leslie Bushart, grandsons, Christopher Dwight Bushart and Jacob Bushart, her sister, Sally Abdelnour, her brothers John Wooten and James Sartain, and son-in-law Richard Bushart.
Services will be held privately at a later date.
