Edward LeRoy Holm Jr., age 80, of Lakeland, FL passed away on October 12, 2022.
Born in Lakeland, Florida, he was the son of the late Edward LeRoy Sr. and Esther Eleanor Holm.
He is survived by his daughters, Heather (Kevin) Powell and Denise (Dave) Callahan. He will be missed by his grandchildren, India (Raul) Martinez, Kody (Aubry) Powell, Kaelyn Powell, Leyland Callahan and Weston Callahan, and his great-grandchildren, Luna and Rio Martinez. He was preceded in death by his wife of almost 30 years, Dovie in 2001 and his sister Sara Holm Elkin. Ed started his own business called Ed's Lawn Service. He loved to fish, mostly freshwater, but it didn't matter as long as he was fishing. He really enjoyed bowling, but everyone knew Mama was better at it. Ed was described as a 'Chatty Cathy'. He had some great stories and absolutely loved to talk your ear off. He will be greatly missed.
Ed will receive military honors for his service in the United States Army at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida, where he will be laid to rest beside his wife, Dovie.
