Eddie Lee Hornsby Jr., age 80, of Polk City, FL passed away on September 6, 2022.
A native of Tampa, Florida, he was the son of the late Eddie Lee Sr. and Jonnie Hornsby.
He leaves behind his wife, Gail, children, Theresa Robitzsch, Linda (Dwayne) Tergliafera, April (Jimmy) Dixon, son-in-law, Terry Dobbings, step children, Michelle Rendell and Jason Rendell, brother, Ellis (Janice) Hornsby, eight grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, and children, Sandra Dobbings and Eddie Lee "Bubba" Hornsby III.
Eddie was a member of the National Guard. He was a cabinet maker and owner of Hornsby Cabinets and Stylecraft Cabinets.. He enjoyed freshwater fishing, boating, air boating, motorcycling and touring the West, especially southern Arizona and the town of Tombstone in his RV with Gail. He thoroughly enjoyed riding motorcycles in the Carolinas and seeing the country. He was proud to ride his Indian Chief and Can Am cycles. He leaves behind a large, loving family and will be greatly missed.
The family will hold services privately.
