Dorothy Lillian Huffman

Dorothy Lillian Huffman, age 82, passed away on Tuesday, April 17, 2018. A native of Fort Meade, Florida and lifelong resident of Polk County, Florida. She was the daughter of the late Ely Roberts and Eunice Irene Goodman. Dorothy was preceded in death by her late husband of 10 years, R.P. “Bob” Huffman and by her first husband of 32 years, Jack Coy Spivey, Sr.; brothers, Randall Costine and Gary Roberts. She is survived by her beloved family; daughters, Lana (Michael) Myers and Neva Wininger; sons, Jack Coy (Lynn) Spivey and Reginald Eli Spivey; brother, Robert Allen Costine; sister, Shelley DiGiacomo; 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Dorothy was a member of Little Flock Church for 12 years and worked for the Polk County School Board as a bus driver for 30 years.

Family will receive friends on Saturday, April 21, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Lanier Funeral and Cremation Services, 717 Griffin Road, Lakeland, FL 33805. Graveside service will be held on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at Mt. Tabor Cemetery in Lakeland at 2:30 PM with brother David Byrd officiating.
