Born on June 14, 1943, in Canandaigua, New York, to the late Raymond and Margaret Marshall, Doris grew up in a loving family alongside her siblings, Edward R. Marshall and Barbara Marshall.

Doris's life was a testament to the power of love and family. On March 17, 1962, she married the love of her life, James R. Eighmey Sr., and together they embarked on a journey of 62 years filled with joy, challenges, and countless memories. Their union was blessed with two wonderful children, Dawn Eighmey and James Eighmey Jr. (Melissa), who in turn gave her the gift of three adored grandchildren, Raymond, Brianna, and Brandon Eighmey.
