Dianne Kelly Obituary

Dianne Kelly passed away peacefully on February 5, 2024, in Lakeland, Florida, at the age of 65. Born on September 7, 1958, in Baltimore, Maryland, Dianne's life was a vivid tapestry of creativity, service, and unwavering faith.

Dianne's early years in Baltimore were filled with the nurturing love of her parents, who instilled in her a passion for the arts and the importance of community. This foundation led her to pursue and obtain an art degree from Dundalk Community College, where she honed her natural talents and prepared for a life dedicated to artistic expression.

Professionally, Dianne served as a courier for Bank of America, a role that allowed her to connect with numerous individuals and businesses, leaving a lasting impression of warmth and reliability. Her true calling, however, was as an art teacher, where she shared her passion for creativity with eager minds, inspiring her students to explore their own artistic journeys.

Dianne's involvement with the Apostolic Abundant Life Church and the Bethel Assembly of God was a testament to her deep faith and commitment to her community. Her love for the church was as boundless as her love for the arts, and she found great joy in participating in church activities and fellowship.

An artist at heart, Dianne cherished every opportunity to immerse herself in arts and crafts. Whether she was drawing, crocheting, or simply enjoying the fresh air and music outdoors, her spirit was most alive when she was creating or surrounded by beauty. Her love for everyone was evident in every piece she created and every life she touched.

Family was the cornerstone of Dianne's life. She is survived by her loving daughter Jinell Caparella and her partner James Thorpe, her son David Caparella, and a community of friends who became family. Dianne was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Arthur Otis Kelly, and her parents, who guided her with love and wisdom throughout her life.

Dianne Kelly will be remembered as a loving and kind soul, a woman whose legacy is etched in the countless lives she enriched through her art, her teaching, and her unwavering compassion. Her memory will continue to inspire and comfort all who knew her, as her spirit lives on in the beauty she created and the love she shared.
