We Celebrate the Life and Mourn the Passing of:
David G. Wooton (Jerry), 82 Lakeland, FL
We lost our Dad January 31, 2020. He was born July 26, 1937, in Louisville, Ky.
He married his beautiful wife, his best friend, Brenda Lee in 1962 in Louisville, Ky, and together they raised three children Katherine, Leslie, and David.
In 1978 the family moved to Lakeland, FL, where they built a successful business. David was engaged in the Lakeland community by being involved with Polk County Sheriff’s Department and Better Business Counsel. David also wrote a consumer advice column for the Lakeland Ledger.
David loved this country, and upon retirement, traveled throughout America and loved to share his experiences and adventures.
David is survived by his three children, Kathy, Leslie, David, six grandchildren, five great grandchildren.
Sadly, David was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Lee in 2002. Never a day passed where he didn’t speak of her, she was always in his thoughts.
