David Barlow, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on January 15, 2025, at the age of 63 in his hometown of Lakeland, Florida. Born on September 26, 1961, to Hazel and the late Donald Barlow, David's life was one of dedication, creativity, and love.
David's journey began in Lakeland, where he grew up with his brother, Donald Ray Barlow, and where he later met and married the love of his life, Lisa. Together, they built a family that included their beloved children: Amber Bell, Keelan Barlow, Ashley Barlow, Kayla Barlow, Kelsey Barlow, Alexis Barlow, Kiela Barlow, and Kindell Barlow. David's legacy continued to grow with the joy of his 35 grandchildren, each of whom he adored and cherished.
Throughout his life, David was known for his hardworking nature. He spent many years in maintenance work, where his colleagues respected him for his reliability and skill. His involvement in various associations allowed him to form lasting friendships and to make a positive impact on his community.
David's creativity and handy nature were evident in his love for crafting and building things. Fishing was another of David's passions, providing him with moments of tranquility and reflection, as well as excitement and joy.
Those who knew David will remember him as a creative soul, always ready to tackle a new project or lend a helping hand. His loving nature was the cornerstone of his existence, guiding him in his roles as a husband, father, and grandfather. David's warmth and generosity touched the lives of many, and his memory will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know him.
David Barlow's life was a tapestry woven with love, hard work, and creativity. As we bid farewell to this remarkable man, we celebrate the enduring impact he has left on the hearts of his family and friends. David's spirit will live on in the stories shared, the projects completed, and the love he gave so freely. He will be deeply missed, but his legacy will continue to shine brightly in the lives of those he loved.
