Clara "Sue" Ayscue Obituary

Sue Welsh Ayscue, 76, passed away receiving her heavenly prize on March 27, 2021.

Growing up, Susie's love of music and dancing was well known. When she enlisted in the US Army, they quickly recruited her to sing and dance for the troops. She loved to travel and experience the world and was known to always carry a gold pan in her car, just in case she ended up somewhere where she might discover treasure. She was extremely creative and was always researching something new. She loved her family, especially her three boys.

Susie was an entrepreneur at heart and was always coming up with new ideas. She had a food truck, "Susie's Nugget Hut," before food trucks were cool. She was an amazing crafter, whether it was painting, sewing, or crocheting hats for ICU babies, there was little that she could not achieve when she set her mind to it. That being said, she was strong-willed and lived life on her terms. It was not uncommon to find her in an argument with one of her sons about trying a new food or a new way of doing things. In the end, she always got her way.

Susie had two main loves in life, Jesus and her boys. As she entered the gates of heaven, we are quite certain there was much celebration as she was met by her mother, Betty, and her sister Sharon.

She is survived by her sons; Brandon (Lana), Jason (Carrie), Jeff (Serena), her sisters; Janice (Darrell), Wanda (Steve), and her brothers; William, Jerry (Aurora), and Wendell, as well as 6 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Graveside services for Susie will be held Wednesday, March 31st at the National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida at 10am.
