Clara Mae Endres

Clara Endres, age 86, of Lakeland, FL passed away on November 23, 2022.
A native of Mars Hill, Maine, she was the daughter of the late Clayton and Florence Ruby Hoyt.
She is survived by her children, Layton (Caren) Endres, Theodora (Christopher) Steelman, Keilani Swilley and Florence (Andrew) Genco, twelve grandchildren, seven great- grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her beloved sister, Priscilla Ann Lenentine, to whom she was very close. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Una Belle Hoyt, Geraldine Theola Hoyt, Roy Edward Hoyt and Elbridge Leighton Hoyt.
Clara was a very hard worker, sometimes working three jobs to provide for her family. She was a loving woman who would give the shirt off her back. She thoroughly enjoyed puzzle books and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She had a great sense of humor and sarcasm was her tool of choice. She was known as Grammy to her grandchildren and she will be greatly missed. Services will be held privately.
